INFRARED SAUNA
An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to create heat. These saunas are sometimes called far-infrared saunas — “far” describes where the infrared waves fall on the light spectrum. A traditional sauna uses heat to warm the air, which in turn warms your body, while an infrared sauna heats your body first on a cellular level, before heating the air around you, offering a deeper detox.
Traditional steam or temperate saunas are typically 150-180 degrees Fahrenheit, which can sometimes feel unbearable, while also feeling "heavy" due to the steam. Because infrared saunas are typically 120-150 degrees Fahrenheit, but first heat your body on a cellular level, your session will be more comfortable, while promoting a deeper level of detoxification, ridding your body of excess toxins ranging from heavy metals, chemicals, radioactive particles, and helping with healing and inflammation.
